At Warren Averett we believe people should be compensated and promoted according to the value they produce for our clients and our firm. That is why our career path model is not the traditional hierarchical model, but one we call the Value Contribution Model. In our model, we have identified four areas that define our business activities; Production, Service, Operations, and Client Relationships. An individual’s career path is their choice and based on which of the four areas they are most interested in developing competencies and long term career goals.

We combine a comprehensive competency model with the Value Contribution model to help us produce annual individual development plans, based on the individual’s career desires, and the evaluation of the individuals development level on indentified competencies needed to be successful in their current and desired roles. This helps employees focus on the important tasks and activities that will help them continually develop their ability to meet and exceed performance expectations and ultimately reach their desired career goals.
