Andy King has been with Warren Averett since 1980. He has over 30 years experience in all areas of taxation. With prior Internal Revenue Service work experience, Andy serves as a firm expert in complex tax laws, issues and IRS dealings. Andy also has extensive experience in assisting not-for-profit clients.

From 1971 to 1980, Andy was employed with the Internal Revenue Service in Birmingham, primarily as an Internal Revenue Agent. As an agent, Andy spent most of his time examining the tax returns of all types of closely held corporations. This has proven to be valuable experience in the practice of public accounting. Andy is very effective in dealing with the Internal Revenue Service on behalf of our clients. In addition, our staff and clients regularly consult with him in structuring tax transactions to minimize both the tax liability and potential problems with the Internal Revenue Service.
