Benefit Plan Audits

Warren Averett manages and performs technical reviews for 70 to 75 employee benefit plan audits each year, and currently services 60 401(k) plan audits ranging from under $1 million to over $150 million in assets.  We provide plan audits for large to mid-sized companies and we are equipped to handle the complexity your plans may encompass.   

Warren Averett has been serving the accounting, tax and consulting needs of businesses for over 30 years, and we have offered our services to employee benefit plans for over 20 years.  We regularly attend the National Conference on Employee Benefit Plans sponsored by the AICPA to stay abreast of current issues in auditing employee benefit plans and are members of the AICPA Employee Benefit Plan Audit Quality Center. Our goal is to incorporate those procedures, and only those procedures, that will most effectively accomplish defined objectives in each specific examination.  This concept translates into a more efficient audit.
