Tax refund and opportunity review
Warren Averett's Tax Refund and Opportunity Review takes between 2 and 4 days, based on the size of the company and the level of taxes the client would like us to review. Most reviews can be completed in 2 days and will not be overly intrusive on a business. To understand the current and projected tax position of a company we will request certain data and spend a few hours discussing the business with management or tax personnel. We will review the data we have requested in an effort to locate opportunities. Before we leave the field we will discuss all possible opportunities we have identified and determine which should be further pursued. At our clients request we will secure the refund or move forward with the opportunities identified. Warren Averett prepares all schedules, supporting documentation and amended returns (as necessary) to secure the benefit on our clients' behalf. If during our review we identify potential areas of exposure, our experienced staff will address such issues and suggest ways to minimize exposure.

Our goal is to find or recover value for our clients. An investment of time from our staff will be required to reach this goal. In the event we are successful in securing refunds or generating opportunities for cash, a findings based fee will be charged that is agreed upon prior to beginning the engagement. If after our review no refunds or opportunities for cash value are identified and secured, then our services are not charged back to the client.
